The finish used can last for many years, without any treatment. The first process in wood floor sanding is to level off, going diagonally across the boards. It is then sanded following the grain to take out any scuffs and scratches. We use as many grades of sandpaper as required to give a clean fine finish to the boards. Then we finish off with a very hardwearing lacquer in matte, satin or gloss finish.  We can also stain to whatever colour you require, to suit either furniture or soft furnishings.
